i'm currently out of town again getting some leadership training at lovely gunter annex, alabama. we spent the first three days doing a lot of self-awareness exercises and reflecting about our strengths and weaknesses (or what the corporate world likes to call "opportunities for improvement"). though i've found the exercises useful, i didn't really get any shocking news...i guess i was already fairly self-aware. i'd share my strengths and weaknesses with you but if you know me you already know what they are and if you don't know me you don't need to know them. afterall i am an introvert....

damn i've been busy. the latest thing soaking up time is my Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults class. this Easter my wife and i will be confirmed and be full up Catholic rounds! some of you may not be able to get too excited about that but we are. i know at times i get a little irreverent on this blog and well....that's just the way i am at times. it'll be interesting to read this in a few years and see if i still approach things the same way. anyway, as you may of noticed i've dropped the third person thing...it seemed to break up my train of thought because i had to keep going back and editing when i was on a roll. so from know on you'll get my comments in the first person. at least until i change my mind again. now, wasn't it just a complete waste of time for you to spend that last couple of minutes reading this entry in my blog. it's an awful lot of work to keep one of these things current and i have deep respect for those bloggers out there that can keep up! the shoe is out...i mean i'm out!
